Installing on Windows
  1. Download the Windows installer and open the .exe file.
  2. Follow the setup prompts, then open Oblivion.
  3. Let the launcher download the client files before you play.

The Windows build is for 64-bit PCs. Setup installs WebView2 if it is missing.

The installer is not yet code-signed. Windows may show SmartScreen on first launch. For the installer downloaded here, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Installing on macOS
  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag Oblivion into your Applications folder.
  3. Open Oblivion from Applications.

Requires macOS 11 or later. The same download supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

The app is not yet Apple-notarized. If macOS blocks the first launch, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway for Oblivion.

Installing on Linux

For the AppImage, open the file's properties, enable Allow executing file as program, then launch it. The wording varies by desktop.

Prefer a native package? Choose .deb for Debian or Ubuntu, or .rpm for Fedora and compatible distributions, then install it with your package manager.

Linux builds require x86_64, GTK 3, WebKitGTK 4.1 and Ayatana AppIndicator. Your distribution must provide these libraries; AppImage may also need FUSE. Native package updates can ask for your administrator password.

Do I need to download every update?

No. The launcher checks for its own updates and keeps the game client up to date. Game updates download only changed data, rather than the entire client again.

If you need to reinstall, the buttons above always point to the latest published launcher.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

The launcher is for desktop computers running Windows, macOS or Linux. There is no Android, iOS or ChromeOS build. Open this page on your computer to download it.
